Blogging About Epilepsy – My First Post

How many of you are struggling to figure out ways to live life as an epileptic? Or do you have a loved one that you are trying to support? According to www.cureepilepsy.org, 150 thousand people are diagnosed with epilepsy each year and 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy throughout their life. My name is Lauren Newman. I’m 36 years old and I’ve been living with epilepsy since the age of 12. Life can be challenging, but I have a wonderful husband, 2 awesome kids, 2 loving dogs, and very supportive friends who are always there to help! My walk with the Lord has made me realize He is always by my side, no matter what I’m dealing with. I run a blog called Pushing Past Epilepsy and my goal is to give you ways to live a fulfilling life with epilepsy. It’s definitely not impossible!
